Just like we choose a jury, only people can volunteer to be on the panel, the panel rotates so no one has too much control.<BR/><BR/>You have to remember how many levels of government we have to deal with and weed out the crap from level (A) before they can work their way up. Of course, hat comes with complications of it's own - but still. <BR/><BR/>This is where my inner non pacifist Anarchist comes out. I know people disagree with me on this, and I respectfully agree to disagree with them about it.<BR/><BR/>Like you said, the system is generally rigged so that you and I have very little say in what actually happens, and no real way to get about making tangible changes so that we have more say.<BR/><BR/>The frustration you are feeling now is how radical movements are started. it's how peaceful protests turn into violent riots. Sometimes violence is the only thing we have left.<BR/><BR/>Anyway, that's just me babbling. What can we do? Well, for starters, I do believe this election is more important than that of 2000. Number one, because in 2000 we had no idea what we were in store for. We didn't understand the ramifications of electing Bush. We didn't know 9/11 was going to happen. Now we know, we are more aware of what can happen, and are a bit more educated on what did happen, and what not to do.<BR/><BR/>Now we have a choice of who to elect. Who will help us out of this mess?
